What it is
Instead of chasing an audience, you belong to small, closed communities called islands — and you only get in when existing members vouch for you.
- Islands — invite-only communities. No public sign-ups, no search-to-join.
- Get nodded on — a member vouches you in; once enough members nod you on, you're in.
- Events — members create events (now or scheduled, in person or online) and RSVP.
- Messaging — one-to-one messages between members who share an island, with block & report.
- Found your own island — start a community with a one-off £3.50 pass.
- @handles — one handle that's yours across every island.
How to join
- Download the app (button above) and create your @handle.
- Get a member to nod you onto their island — or found your own.
- This month is free. From the 1st of next month, buy a £1.50 monthly voucher on the store page and redeem the code in the app.
Installing on Android:
- Tap Download for Android on your phone.
- Open the downloaded file. When asked, turn on Allow from this source.
- If Google Play Protect says "App blocked", tap the small Install anyway (not the blue OK), and let it scan.
- Tap Install, then open NoddedOn and create your handle.
